Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. Liquid Crystal-Polymer Composite (LCPC) materials of low saturation voltage and high contrast ratio have been developed by using halogenated liquid crystals and photo-reactive acryl resin system. The other reliabilities such as hysteresis, temperature dependence and W-stability of its electrooptical properties have been improved by optimising LCPC structure and synthetic condition. Active-matrix addressed LCPC materials having such a good electrooptical properties will promise higher brightness and larger screen size for projection display.
