Abstract
This paper presents the preliminary simulation and experimental results of single arm spiral antennas, being developed for biomedical applications in microwave frequencies. The particular application which is being pursued is the study of the detection of tumors (temperature abnormalities) in breast tissue phantom using microwave radiometry.
