Abstract :
This paper presents a high squint imaging method for frequency-modulation continuous-wave (FMCW) synthetic aperture radar (SAR) with high speed. In high squint operation mode for FMCW SAR a quadratic phase error (QPE) is induced by the high speed and the high squint angle, which effects the focusing of range profile. Firstly the received signal expression in the wave number domain is deduced, and then a high squint imaging method for FMCW SAR is proposed. The QPE and range cell migration (RCM) are compensated in the two dimension wave number domain. The simulation is presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
