Abstract :
We report here a broadband quantum cascade laser (QCL) at a center frequency of 2.3 THz and a total bandwidth of 765 GHz above the noise level at a temperature of 10 K in pulsed mode with 1900 ns pulses. In this measurement we can identify 48 longitudinal modes with a mode spacing of 16 GHz.
