Abstract :
The use of clothes dryers in household is becoming more common, however, traditional clothes dryers consume large amount of electric energy. A new type of domestic heat-pump dryer is introduced in the paper. Summarizes its operating principle and basic structure, meanwhile, indicates the arithmetic of design and selection of some important component. Compared the power consumption, effect of drying and the pollution to indoor environment with traditional dryer, we can reach a conclusion that heat pump dryer is more energy-saving, better effect of drying, smaller environmental pollution than traditional electric heating dryers, and more suitable for home use. Finally, points out some issues and insufficient of heat pump dryers in current research.
