Availability under Age Replacement with Distinct Service Time Distributions

In this paper, we construct a model for the case in which the probability distributions for the durations of corrective maintenance and of preventive maintenance are distinct. In addition, we develop performance measures that are time dependent rather than limits and we assume a finite time horizon for model analysis. In order to construct and analyze our model, several algebraic problems must be resolved.
