  • Abstract
    Studies the response of a receiving antenna array to skywave signals. The authors examine the case of a circular phased array of vertically polarised antennas. Only CW signals are considered. They illustrate the results through determination of elevation angles of arrival for the different modes of propagation. This technique, used in conjunction with large phased arrays may be applied to HF radio direction finding
