Rail Business Actors must remain vigilant and continue to play a pro-active role. High levels of safety being achieved, we must not ignore the fact that residual risks still remain. ALSTOM transport senior management committee understands that railway safety is an essential requirement for the business. Therefore, it decided to go one step further with the definition and deployment of an Innovative safety management system (SMS) for all its activities worldwide.
