Abstract :
Summary form only given. Electroluminescence diode based on molecularly doped conducting polymer (MDPC) with the structure of Cathode/MDPC/Anode and also Cathode/MDPC/Hole transport layer/Anode have been fabricated utilizing soluble conducting polymer such as poly(2,5-dialkoxy-p-phenylene vinylene) and fluorescent molecule such as 8-hydroxyquinoline aluminum. Electroluminescence intensity and spectrum have been found to depend on concentration of molecule, applied voltage and thickness of the layers. The obtained results are explained by taking the electronic energy states of conducting polymer and molecule into consideration. Dynamic characteristics have been also discussed.
