"Smart Logistics" RFID-Equipment for production logistics

Innovative data collection technologies such as RFID have proved their practicability and economic efficiency in the fields of trade and stock-working keeping, but for the use in the manufacturing industry, however, a number of further uncertainties have to be taken into account. Within the framework of the Sm@rt Logistics project both factors shall be proved in the field which deals with supplying and disposing of materials at the of production logistics of a metal-working company. The project and main concepts were introduced in this article.
