Abstract :
The purpose of this project was to design a Quality Assurance (Q.A.) process for medical displays, implement it in the Chilean Army Hospital Teleradiology System and validate the results in the healthcare system. It was designed to meet the specific needs of this military program which since 2004 has supported both, the military needs throughout the country and civilian healthcare system in remote and inhospitable areas. This software-based process follows the procedure proposed by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (A.A.P.M.) [1], Task Group 18.
