On the Application of Information Management in Mould & Die Enterprise Production Management

Barcode technology, as an information collection and automatic identification technology, has been widely used in the industrial production. Mold & die manufacture which involves many processes faces a difficult--how to realize free transmission of the processes data. This paper analyses the situation of production management of mould & die enterprise, points out that informatization is an inevitable trend. It will play a very important role in improving productivity, lowering costs and improving quality etc. On the basis of deeply analyzing the production process, this paper proposes adopting the barcode in the production to solve the problem that faced in mould & die enterprise´s production management.
