Abstract
Nowadays, the two-coordinate drives systems have became special and widespread group of multidimensional industrial control systems. They are used for control of the planar manipulators, for positioning of the two-coordinate positioning tables and scanning devices. The variety of control tasks causes the variety of different structures of two-coordinate drives system. The proposed framework attempts to represent common functionality of the main structure that is compatible with positioning and scanning drives in two-dimensional space. Implemented algorithms for scanning process enable to solve the control quality improving tasks, related to minimization of power loss. The model has been specified using the concept of real-time modeling.
