Abstract
The theoretical and experimental investigations of I-V characteristics of vacuum field emission array carbon microdiodes with varying temperature values on cathode are described in this paper. It is shown that increasing temperature of cathode at the permanent gap leads to the decreasing of work function of glass-like carbon. The glass-like carbon field emission array cathode with tip density N=106 cm-2 is employed.
