Abstract :
This article analyses energy saving effects and environment influence of coal oxygen-enriched combustion. Oxygen-enriched combustion can remarkably reduce the amount of combustion air and produced fume. It is also beneficial to reduce and control SO2 and CO2 emission, but it can observably increase NOx emission. For high-sulfur coal, the technology and measure to control SO2, NOx and CO2 emission in oxygen-enriched combustion mainly consider fume separation and recycling and for low sulfur coal mainly consider desulfurization and denitrification in the furnace, fume separation and CO2 recycling.
