Abstract
The results from our efforts to characterize propagation constant of carbon nanotube, graphene and silver nanowire layers in the frequency range of 75 to 110 GHz are presented. The method is based on measurements of propagation characteristics of a dielectric rod waveguide unloaded and loaded with the layers under study. The losses caused by carbon nanotube layers can be explained by high absorption. The losses caused by silver nanowires and graphene are quite low. Measurement results agree well with the simulations.
