Abstract
The paper revisits the mathematical and physical origin of the microwave filter design approach described in “Microwave Filters, Impedance-Matching Networks, and Coupling Structures,” authored by Matthaei-Young-Jones (MYJ), leading to the investigation of popular, state-of-the-arts filter designs, and revealing the beauty of the MYT coupled-resonator filter design methodology of infinite possibility.
