Abstract
This paper presents results of a control designing study for an autonomous highway driving system, based on satellite positioning. The aim of this work is to investigate the relations between automatic driving performance and satellite accuracy parameters. To reach this target, a simulation tool has been developed in Matlab/Simulink©. This application realizes a simplified but complete simulation tool of an automatic highway driving function, comprehensive of vehicle system, sensor system and road environment.
