Abstract :
GC-ECD was used to analyze twelve kinds of organochlorine pesticides in the paddy soil in Jiangxi Province, China. The result shows that the organochlorine pesticides range from 0.006 mg/Kg to 0.702 mg/Kg and the average is 0.186mg/Kg. Besides, the higher concentration component is BHCs, DDTs and chlordane. The residual level is different among the regions in Jiangxi Province and, Xinyu, Yichun and Jingdezhen have the high concentration of organochlorine pesticides. According to the study on component characteristics, the main resource of DDTs is historic residual, but the resource of BHCs exist regional discrepancies, which is that the BHCs in Pingxiang, Jiujiang and Jingdezhen were caused by historic residual and ones in Yichun, Xinyu and Ganzhou as well as Nanchang were caused by lindane. The eco-risk assessment indicated that the risk level of BHCs is still low but the DDTs are in a certain risky level.
