Abstract :
In order to control reasonably the acceleration and dynamic tension in emergency braking process so as to assure smooth braking and the security of conveyor system, accurate design techniques should be adopted, thus the dynamic simulation methods are required to research precisely the baking performances of belt conveyor. By comparing dynamic performances of some kinds of models, the Vogit model is selected as the viscoelasticity model suiting to the belt, and the dynamic model of belt is simplified as a series of Vogit models in series. Dynamic model of the conveyor system on longitudinal vibration is established by finite elemental method. Simulation block of driving device is created and the state space block of the belt is programmed, thus the simulation model of overall belt conveyor system is established with Simulink software, and is run during emergency braking by properly setting simulation parameters, so all dynamic parameters of conveyor at random site during emergency braking can be computed. And output data are visualized so that accurate design techniques may be used to control stability and security of the belt conveyor during emergency braking.
