Abstract :
A modelling tool for microwave power industry has to account for not only electromagnetic phenomena, but also the heat transfer effect. In this paper the numerical error analysis of the FDTD method employed to solve the heat transfer equation has been performed together with an investigation of the influence of mesh refinement on the solution. Analytical predictions have been verified with numerical experiments.
