  • Abstract
This paper discusses the development of an auto-modeling program tool for automatically generating full aircraft models used in the simulation analysis of landing gears dynamic loads. Section 2 of the full paper introduces the MSC.ADAMS and the ADAMS macros which is the tools for developing the program. Section 3 describes the composition of a full aircraft model and the modularization of the aircraft. By modularizing a full aircraft into three modules, the assembling of aircraft model can be simplified and easy to be implemented for computer program. Section 4 illustrates the design philosophy of this program and the development of the user interface which consists of four sub-interfaces; fig. 3 shows one of these sub-interfaces. In order to demonstrate the usefulness of the program, section 5 gives a case study and the conclusions shows that, this program can shield users from the complex and time-consuming model creation process and will facilitate the increased use of mechanical dynamic simulation technique in industry.
