Abstract :
Presented in this paper is comparative analysis regarding the validity of well-known formulae for the calculation of secondary yield of emitter materials. Optimal spectra of projectile particles during electron shell simulation and secondary-electron multiplication in magnetrons with the basic cold cathode have been defined. Elastically reflected electrons should be taken into account in the models of magnetrons under investigation.
