Abstract :
Devices on which real negative power is being expressed, have recently drawn attention in connection with the discovering of Chung´s negative resistance (CNR) phenomenon in a composite material. CNR junction is based on carbon microfibers and its falling straight NDR characteristic goes through the origin. Here we offer the following solution: although a working CNR does not need any separate power supply-unlike absolute negative resistance (ANR), designed on the basis of either transistors or OA-we still state that the CNR device (as a passive resistor, in fact) neither gives out any kind of energy nor takes up any energy from vacuum, on the contrary to some opinions. Different type (PDR, NDR) conventional negative power devices are described, and the powers on their components are calculated. We have found and analysed the power distributions in a circuit including ANR device (CJFETseries); also we have presented a possible solution of the power behavior of circuits with the CNR-type element
