Abstract

This paper describes the experimental setup and presents some results of HD Radio FM digital system trials that were carried out in Brazil. The experiment is part of a series of field trials that are being conducted by the Brazilian Government to evaluate the performance of radio digital standards, which includes campaigns at MW, HF and VHF frequency bands. Analog FM and HD Radio digital signal were simultaneouslty transmitted, broadcasting the same content. The results presented here include the measurements performed in São Paulo and Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
