Abstract :
Diamond tools life and performance depend largely on the performance of matrix material, but the matrix formula is still relatively simple and the wear resistance of the bit is not perfect. In order to improve the performance of diamond tools, the wear experiments of matrix and the different processing parameters of sintering designed by orthogonal experimental design. Wear resistance of matrix tested by the testing meter for matrix wearing resistance which is made by myself and the influence of WC W and Fe on the wear resistance of the Co-based matrix was studied. The experiments revealed that the wear resistance of Co-based matrix has been more significantly improved by addition to the WC than W and Fe in the same processing parameters of sintering. It is feasible and can effectively optimize the processing parameters when the orthogonal experimental design method is applied to the test. The results have important guiding significance to practice on the production.
