Abstract :
The aim of this article is the narrowband characterization of the radiomobile channel through measurements carried out in the land-air link in the band of the Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast (ADS-B) system, in high speed, held in May 2012, during approach to landing by the runway 28 of the International Airport of Rio de Janeiro. Thus, the recorded data enabled to explore the fading statistical distributions in small and large scale, as well as the path loss, beyond the parameters such as level crossing rate and the average fade duration.
