Abstract :
The use of a parallel proportional-integral-differential (PID) controller and push-pull inverter in a switching mode regulator (SMR) is discussed. In order to obtain maximum efficiency, it is suggested that a full-bridge inverter be used. One of the major problems here is the single ground path between inverter and control block. Single ground in the push-pull inverter will help in the design and production of SMRs. In designing this system the availability of technology in developing countries was considered
