Abstract :
This paper describes LIQUID a new simulator that provides complete physically based simulation of the electrical and optical effects in active matrix flat panel displays. The tool can simulate the entire display and presents the results in a convenient graphical form i.e. as a reconstructed image as it would appear on the display. Our paper advances the state of the art by integrating analysis techniques from many fields of engineering to produce a tool that is easy to use yet capable of quickly analyzing the complete display.
