Abstract :
The SOLBRITE industrial outdoor lighting system is described. This system is a self-contained fully integrated unit that can be quickly installed on a steel pole for safety and security applications in parks, cemeteries, walkways, waterfronts, parking lots, etc. SOLBRITE stand-alone solar security lighting systems have been operating in Eastern Ontario, Ottawa Carleton, Metropolitan Toronto, and North Bay since 1988. Typically they are for four hours after dusk every night year round, with battery storage for three cloudy days. Since 1988, SOLBRITE performance has not suffered from any failure due to solar panel or battery malfunctions
