The modeling design of automobile involves a great many of aspects. The paper analysis the modeling of the "Chinese automobile" from the viewpoint of industrial design. The paper will through all kinds of inquisition data, withdrawing the design symbol of the "Chinese automobile" from the evolvement of the Chinese social culture, social construction, social condition, social psychology and the Chinese traditional plastic art, to analyze how modeling of the "Chinese automobile" is ability to contain national culture characteristic
