Study on perceptual evaluation of mobile phones form

To design a good product, it´s essential that the product not only satisfies the function needs, but also grasps the consumer´s psychological estimation. For some functional products such as car and mobile phone, the form is the key element to decide consumer´s actions. Based on the kansei engineering principle, exemplifying a case of mobile phone, this paper describes the mobile phone form element categorizing as static element and dynamic element. A perceptual evaluation model for mobile phone was built through the data analysis using theory I of quantification which is of common use in psychology. Eventually, the mobile phones sales data in Shaanxi are used to test the evaluation model
