Abstract :
With the sustainable development of human society, renewable energy resources have great strategic significance to guaranteeing energy supply and improving environment. Solar energy is the most abundant renewable energy source in the natural world. Currently, the technology of using solar energy has become one of the important research projects for countries worldwide to exact new energy resources and use them for energy-saving and environmental protection. This paper discusses the definition of solar building and its function in the housing construction in China, and looks into the development prospect of its utilization.
