Abstract :
The new integrated optical modulator for optical signals frequency shift keying (FSK) has been designed. It is based on the technology of electrically controlled Bragg gratings. This technique can provide a very high frequency deviation (FM index). The results are especially interesting for local optical networks, optical sensors and on-board (planes and ships) telecommunication systems.
