Abstract :
The process of "red" thin crystalline films of DAST 4-dimethylamino-N-methyl-stilbazolium tosylate was investigated by impregnation methods. Low volt-light modulator based on material was investigated. 60% depth of light modulation was obtained at 0.7 V/um driving voltage. Modulator proprieties were measured up to dozens of MHz.
