Abstract :
The rice husk is one of the most abundant renewable biomass energy sources, which is wastage in rice milling company in China. Aiming at the present situation which the high cost of paddy drying is disadvantageous to the popularization of paddy dryer, paddy drying unit of biomass energy model CHLD using rice husk as a heat source was designed, the composition and structure characteristics of the unit were described. Some key techniques were analyzed and studied, which contain the delivery of rice husk and suspension combustion, rice hull ash separator and recovery of dry ash by the screw conveyor etc.. Production spot stated that the unit using rice husk as a heat source can reduce drying costs about 40%, reduce energy costs about 85% compared with paddy drying unit of fuel oil type. In addition, recovered dry rice husk ash can provide the high-quality raw materials for its comprehensive utilization.
