Discussion on the necessity of absorbing Chinese culture into Chinese design

Culture is a very important factor in affecting design and promoting its development, only by deeply rooted in culture could design make progress. The development of the Chinese design has to absorb Chinese culture into it. By analyzing the relationship between national culture and characteristics of design in different countries, and the relationship between Chinese culture and design, the current condition of the Chinese design, and the extensiveness of Chinese culture, the paper generalizes the great impacts and effects of Chinese culture on Chinese design. It also shows a way for Chinese design to referring to and integrating with Chinese culture to the Chinese design
