  • Abstract
    In this paper we show that we were able to design a rate-1/2 turbo-code with two inputs and memory m=3 which outperforms the turbo-code with same characteristics proposed by now in literature considering a Rice flat fading channel. For this purpose we analyze the performance in terms of Bit Error Rate (BER) and Frame Error Rate (FER) of a duo-binary turbo coded system over Rice time varying channel. Data block length has k=m×N=2×752 bits. A QPSK modulation, MaxLogMAP algorithm, 15 iterations and a stop criterion of iterations were employed in this analysis.
