  • Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to focus on the adaptive linear model of DiffServ´s queues used by controllers such as adaptive model reference and adaptive self-tuning controllers. Such a design makes possible very efficient schedulers in Diffserv architecture to control the delay and loss constraints. In this paper we experiment some methods for real time modeling of DiffServ´s queues. These tests include selection of model structure, experiment design, parameter estimation, and validation. As a figure of merit for the effectiveness of adaptive model of DiffServ´s queues we use the selected model in an adaptive scheduler
