Abstract :
The problem of conducted emissions from modern power electronic converters for the frequency range 1-1000 kHz is reviewed. This frequency range is particularly relevant to the development of modern power converters and the new concepts of smart grid and micro grid. The uncertainties associated with measurement and predicting the performance of modern converters, the need for new standards, and new analysis techniques are discussed.
