Abstract
This paper discusses challenges in the monolithic realization of ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna-array transceivers for radar and imaging. A power-consumption comparison between an all-digital signal-processing approach and approaches that exploit analog pre-processing is provided. Architectures for the implementation of integrated, UWB, antenna-array transceivers for radar and imaging are then discussed.
