Abstract :
Design sketch reflect implicit insight, knowledge and expertise in vehicle styling. This paper focuses on a transformation of styling features situated in design sketches during the process of concept evolution, employs protocol analysis and behavior analysis, presents the model of vehicle styling macro-process, and applies it to a sketching feature based case retrieving module - draftmaker in CBID (case based industrial design) system
