Customization oriented heuristic user interface design

To improve the development quality of user interface (UI) to meet users´ requirements, the customization UI becomes necessary. In this paper, a heuristic customization scenario for UI is proposed to obtain users´ intention effectively. The HUID is achieved through two customizations - the manual customization duration UI design and the automatic customization duration UI usage. In manual customization, the UI pattern is redefined in order to control its´ parameters conveniently, which meet user needs for customization as soon as possible. In automatic customization, user interface knowledge base (UIKD) that stores users´ preferences is introduced to increase the ability of automatic adjustment interface. Moreover, the detailed design steps and case study for UI are implemented, which enhances the reusability of UI knowledge and adaptation of UI. Finally, the conclusion and further work are indicated
