  • Abstract
    This work develops a generalized state space averaging (GSSA) model for a full-bridge boost power electronic AC-DC converter and explores a control scheme to achieve voltage regulation and unity power factor. The scheme has been validated by simulation results using a H-based regulator designed from a linearized GSSA model. The main fact in this work is that using GSSA is possible to convert a non-standard control problem derived from a conventional state-space modeling into a regulation problem, thus allowing the use of well known control strategies.
