Abstract :
Analytical expressions for the effective second-order nonlinear coefficients for type-I and type-II phase matching for five groups of biaxial crystals in the coordinate planes of the optical ellipsoid are presented. Using these expressions, the coefficient value can be derived easily without numerical calculation for every point in the phase matching curves
