Abstract :
This paper deals with the transformer losses especially eddy current losses in windings. Nowadays, there is the stress on the possibilities of lowering losses and optimisation of transformer dimension. Calculations were provided with using FEM method. Recommendations are introduced in the conclusion of this paper
