Abstract :
In the 80\´s and 90\´s a rapid development in molecular biology occurred. But most of tests were done manually, what greatly enlarged total costs and total time of projects. That caused a very strong need for automation of testing process. In short time many companies released biosystems commonly known as "biochips", however a great number of them is still experimental ones. Despite the great interest in this area, there are only few professional software to design and simulate such complicated microsystems. In this paper a new powerful software dedicated for multidisciplinary simulations in 3D is presented. CFD-ACEU+ software can be used to simulate such phenomena like electroosmosis or electrophoresis, not only in simple capillaries, but also in complicated MEFS (Micro Electro Fluidics Systems), implemented into integrated circuits.
