Abstract :
Thermionic emission properties of long spun carbon nanotube (CNT) fibers were studied. The CNT fibers were fabricated from CNT webs which are two dimensional CNT network drawn from CNT arrays. Electrical resistivity of the CNT fibers is ~1×10-3 Ωcm. From the thermionic emission experiments, work function of our CNT was estimated as 4.66 eV.
