Abstract :
A tri-band microstrip spiral antenna designed using a spiral structure with metallic cavity is presented; the bands are 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2000 MHz respectively. The dual-fed antenna is probe-fed using a wideband balun. The design is simulated using the MOM and eventually fabricated. Simulated and experimental results show good matching; it is resonated at desired frequencies with good bandwidth.
