Abstract :
Spectrally resolved optical interferometry (spectro-interferometry) is used in astronomy to deliver high-resolution images of astronomical targets and study their morphological features. To this end, measurements of the visibility and phase of interference fringes obtained by combining simultaneously light collected by several distant telescopes are required. High precision visibility measurements are currently performed with planar integrated optical components, which in general are not easily scalable to the simultaneous combination of more than 4-6 telescopes.
